National Tuberculosis Control Center has successfully conducted a Workshop to develop/revise R/R tool and program guidelines/manual to integrate NTP with the Maternal and Child Health Program of the Family Welfare Division. The Objective of this workshop was to develop/establish a mechanism for TB screening and referral among children and pregnant women in the regular Family Health Program of FWD and to review and add R/R parameters of TB Screening/referral and diagnosis among child and maternal health programs of FWD.
During the workshop, participants of NTCC and FWD explored and agreed on the integration area of both programs for guideline/manual as well as R/R Tool. It was a very crucial step to initiate integration of NTP with programs of FWD.
